Permanent, full-timeMilton, QLDBase + Super + OvertimeAbout Holcim As a global leader in innovative and sustainable building solutions, Holcim is enabling greener cities, smarter infrastructure and improving living standards around the world.With sustainability at the core of our strategy, we are becoming a net-zero company, with our people and communities at the heart of our success.About the Role Join our concrete/aggregates business based in our Milton Office and be part of a fast-paced and dynamic team environment where you are key to ensuring our quality products are scheduled efficiently and delivered on time.This role is a fixed-term role for up to 12 months, with potential to go permanent.Our call centres are open 5am until 4pm daily, and we stagger shifts between those times.This role might suit an early starter or someone wanting to work between school hours.We are flexible with arrangements, however, looking for enthusiastic, proactive individuals to join our high-performing, fun team.Key Responsibilities: Ensure efficient and effective daily scheduling and oversee dispatching of deliveries to meet customer service requirements.Work with other schedulers, plant teams, and drivers to ensure the right load into the right truck to the right job.Provide constant feedback to the Customer Service Officers to ensure proper order placement & information to maximise truck utilisation and lower cost of cartage.Liaise with plant staff, account managers, and site coordinators to ensure best possible customer service and achieve individual customer requirements.Maintain up-to-date knowledge of assigned products, services, and plant capabilities/capacity.Manage all fleet scheduling and ensure delivery requirements until jobs are complete.Engage with and coach other schedulers for continuous improvement in scheduling and planning.Capture and maintain cycle times and service interruptions to ensure continuous improvement of service levels.Actively seek feedback on site safety from customers, project coordinators, drivers, and account managers.Report any safety issues raised by customers to the appropriate Holcim personnel.Manage all instances reported by drivers related to accidents, near misses, or site delivery activities that inhibit safe deliveries.Skills and Experience Required: Previous experience in customer service, scheduling, or a similar role.Experience in logistics is advantageous but not essential.Available to work shifts starting between 5am and 7:30am and finishing from 2pm to 4:30pm.Availability to work every second Saturday a month, paid at overtime rates.Strong knowledge of MS Office Suite (experience with SAP is advantageous but not essential).Strong written and verbal skills with the ability to communicate effectively with customers and stakeholders at all levels.Excellent problem-solving skills.#J-18808-Ljbffr
