Role Summary : The Assistant Acquisition Manager (AAM) will identify and secure development opportunities to support growth strategy. The role involves managing relationships with landowners, agents, developers, and tenants across Queensland and Northern NSW.
Key Responsibilities Liaise with QSR, retail, and medical tenants.Source and present sites to tenants.Identify potential tenants for secured projects.Negotiate Heads of Agreement and Agreements for Lease with support from the Acquisition and Development Manager.Work with legal consultants to prepare and execute documents.Site Acquisition Identify potential sites through direct sourcing and agent relationships.Collaborate with leasing agents to secure tenants and identify target areas.Build relationships with landowners and estate developers.Use research tools (e.g., RP Data, Google Earth, Gap Maps, Council Zoning) to evaluate sites.Conduct site feasibility and due diligence.Prepare offers to purchase or expressions of interest.Instruct legal consultants to draft and review purchase contracts.Execute purchase contracts and update the site register.Develop project programs with the Director of Delivery.Target Sectors : (QLD Focus) : Childcare, Fuel / QSR, Retail, Medical, or other agreed sectors.
