Salary for HP2: $88,252 - $105,569 (Plus 11.5% Super)
Salary for P2: $88,252 - $114,592 (Plus 11.5% Super)
Note: This role will be filled at either a Health Professional Level 2 or Psychologist Level 2 depending on qualifications and experience, in line with the Enterprise Agreement.

About the Role:
This is an exciting opportunity to join the collegial Custodial Mental Health services (CMH), within Forensic Mental Health Services. CMH provides specialist mental health services to people in ACT Correctional and Juvenile Justice Centres who require mental health assessment and/or specialized treatment for a mental illness or disorder.
Forensic Mental Health Services (FMHS) is a unit of Mental Health, Justice Health, and Alcohol & Drug Services, Justice Health Services. FMHS provides mental health care across the lifespan and across a range of settings, including a centralized community health facility, youth and adult custodial facilities, off-campus community liaison, court settings, and secure inpatient units. The care provided is underpinned by the National Principles for Forensic Mental Health Services. The service aims to provide collaborative care guided by principles of Recovery and involving the consumer, their carers and other key services.
FMHS is one service with three distinguishable, yet integrated service components as follows:
1. Custodial Mental Health services (CMH)
2. Forensic Inpatient Mental Health Services (FMHIS)
3. Forensic Community Mental Health Services (FCMHS)
As a specialist area, clinicians within FMHS are provided with specialist training and clinical supervision and are consistently encouraged to be involved in a collaborative and multidisciplinary team environment. Clinicians are supported to maintain any continuing professional development requirements, appropriate to area of service provision, such as attendance to group supervision, research groups, and/or in-services.
Please note prior to commencement successful candidates will be required to:
1. Comply with Canberra Health Services Occupational Assessment, Screening and Vaccination policy.
2. Comply with CHS credentialing and scope of clinical practice requirements for allied health professionals.
