Axway API Platform Engineer Job Description Key Responsibilities: Lead the design and analysis of integration patterns from an API Gateway perspective. Design and implement robust, secure authentication and authorization mechanisms for APIs and applications. Develop and maintain Axway API Gateway policies to facilitate secure access and seamless system integration. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment with business goals and technical requirements. Monitor and optimize API performance, security, and scalability. Requirements: Proven experience (Minimum 2 yrs) in Identity integration and Axway API Gateway platform management roles. Strong proficiency in Axway API Gateway policy development and management following industry standards and modern frameworks. Deep understanding of Identity protocols and standards (e.g., OAuth, OpenID Connect, SAML). Knowledge of API security principles and best practices, including encryption, authentication, and authorization. Familiarity with Identity and API management platforms (e.g., Axway API Gateway, ForgeRock Identity Platform, Oracle IAM, Mule Gateway, Azure AD). Industry experience in Insurance or Banking, with an understanding of industry-specific compliance and security requirements. Hands-on experience with Cloud Platforms (e.g. AWS, Azure, GPC) and Cloud Architecture design principles. Experience with Splunk for monitoring, analytics, and operational intelligence. Experience with DevOps practices and tools for continuous integration and deployment. Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot complex integration issues.
