Job Description Reporting to the Maintenance Superintendent, the position includes the following responsibilities: Oversee and manage the rolling stock maintenance program Ability to effectively plan Ensure optimal utilization of resources Limit breakdowns/downtime on equipment Prepare shift roster to ensure efficient division of work Continuous improvement of the entire area of responsibility Can work within the allocated budget Limit wastage through efficient recovery of materials and workable spares This role is 4 days on & 4 days off, Monday to Sunday – 06:00 – 18:00. Desired Skills and Experience The successful candidate will be able to demonstrate: Experience in a similar role Trade qualification (Mechanical, Electrical, Fitter) Desirable Forklift Licence Is a leader and demonstrates leadership Root Cause Analysis experience Provides accurate and prompt information Understands the importance of WHS across the business Has strong verbal and written communication skills Is a team player Displays honest and trustworthy traits We reserve the right to commence recruitment proceedings prior to the stated closing date.
