Job Description
Building and Construction Project Management in Melbourne is a permanent, full-time opportunity with a diverse portfolio of retail, office, lifestyle, and residential assets across interstate locations.
* Execute reconfiguration projects, ensuring alignment with cost and schedule targets.
* Participate in regular action/asset meetings to stay informed about all aspects of the shopping centre, with a focus on leasing-funded capital works.
* Conduct regular visits to shopping centres to monitor the progress of leasing capital works and tenant fit outs and implement strategies to expedite the shop delivery process.
* Collaborate with Leasing Managers on budget preparations, identify relevant work scopes, and request proposals from consultants and contractors to obtain cost estimates and bids.
* Work closely with Centre Operations Managers and other centre team members to coordinate the delivery of shops and tenant fit-out periods, ensuring tenants open on time and fulfill all lease obligations.
The Ideal Candidate:
* Experience in the retail shopping centre environment.
* Minimum 5 years' experience in operations in retail/property management.
* In-depth experience with contractor management.
* Ability to work as part of a team or autonomously.
* Impeccable communication both verbally and in written form.
