A new opportunity has arisen for an Angiography Scrub Scout Registered Nurse to join the committed and highly skilled Cardiac Cath Lab at a private hospital located in the suburbs of Perth. It is a permanent part-time position working 18 hours per week. ABOUT THE POSITION You will join a dynamic and dedicated team of caregivers providing exceptional care to our patients using the latest technology and treatment whilst working together to achieve best practice outcomes, clinical excellence, and a first-class patient experience. You may be responsible for: Maintaining and developing clinical skills to care for patients appropriate to the level of competence; Delivering a high standard of patient care utilizing appropriate resources cost-effectively; Adhering to and supporting hospital policies, procedures, and standards; Acting as the patient’s advocate and facilitating the rights of individuals; Providing patient education and acting as a resource where appropriate; Participating in a multidisciplinary team approach to patient care through the continuum of care; Prioritizing workload using resources effectively; Providing supervision to Enrolled Nurses, students, and PCAs as required. REQUIREMENTS You will hold registration with the Nursing & Midwifery Board of Australia (AHPRA) as a Registered Nurse; Demonstrated commitment to quality patient care and satisfaction, along with well-developed interpersonal and relationship-building skills; An ability to work effectively and harmoniously within the multi-disciplinary health care team, with a commitment to ongoing education and professional development. Previous Angiography Scrub Scout and Cath Lab / Vascular experience is essential to the role. The facility includes a preoperative television room, a holding bay with two beds, 2 operating suites, 2 trolleys, 6 post-operative beds, and 6 recliner chairs in the second-stage recovery area. It provides care for both adult and pediatric patients undergoing minor procedures only. Key specialties include orthopaedic surgery, oral and maxillofacial surgery, gynaecology, extraocular ophthalmic procedures, plastic and reconstructive surgery, and general surgery. REMUNERATION $76,990 to $101,314, (pro rata for part-time) plus 11.5% superannuation.
