About the opportunity
An exciting opportunity for a Maintenance Officer is now available at Templestowe, Victoria, reporting to the Maintenance Team Leader, this role will ensure the condition and appearance of our facility are of the highest standard to provide a pleasant and safe environment for residents, staff and visitors.
* Hands-on repairs and maintenance
* General maintenance; painting, plastering, equipment repairs, installing doors, cupboards/shelves and designing garden layout
* Monitor stock levels of consumables and re-order where required
* Respond to maintenance issues, including requests and complaints in a timely and professional manner
To be successful, you will have
* Experience in maintenance and grounds duties, preferably in an aged care environment
* Relevant Certificate IV qualification and/or significant relevant experience
* Current valid drivers' licence
* Evidence of Australian work rights
* NDIS Worker Screening/Yellow Card (or willing to obtain)
* 2024 Flu Vaccination (or willing to obtain)
* Evidence of Covid-19 vaccinations
* A pre-employment medical assessment may be required for this role
