About the Role
We are currently seeking an Acquisitions Analyst to join our Group Investments team in Brisbane, driving Stockland's strategy in growing our existing development pipeline.
This diverse role will involve assisting the team in identifying and executing acquisition opportunities in Queensland, based from our South Brisbane office with flexibility to work between Brisbane Head Office, Site offices, and home.
Key Responsibilities
* Prepare, critique and analyse feasibilities and cash flow models to provide key return metrics, scenario testing and financial risk analysis for new acquisitions and financial bids;
* Assist in undertaking research and site specific investigations (Due Diligence) and prepare commercial analysis to secure approval from Stockland delegated authority to proceed with acquisition;
* Identify risks and potential mitigation strategies;
* Prepare investment proposals for approval by Stockland Group Board;
* Engage and collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to build strong relationships.
About You
We are looking for a passionate property professional who is resilient and eager to collaborate with a high performing team.
* Degree qualified in Property, Finance or similar, with strong analytical and numerical skills;
* 2+ years of experience in property and understanding of property development feasibilities;
* Effective written and verbal communication skills;
* Experience with Estate Master and highly proficient in Microsoft Excel;
* Ability to work collaboratively and efficiently in a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines;
* Customer focus – anticipate and understand needs of both internal and external customers;
* Excellent time management and organisational skills;
* Exceptional stakeholders' engagement and management skills.
