As our highly valued Special Operations Analyst based in Brisbane, your role will be supporting not only their very first interaction with the Bank but the entire lifecycle, spanning specialist membership and account support, every payment and interaction right through to onboarding.As the Special Operations Analyst, you contribute to the successful implementation and continuous improvement of operational processes and projects with the three business lines that make up Banking & Payments – Customer Operations, Payment Operations – while demonstrating an attitude of process excellence across the broader Banking Operations, Payments & Business Services business.You’ll make an impact by:In collaboration with Special Operations Lead, support in the uplift of critical processes through assisting with the development of new procedures or review of existing procedures.Observe and critique existing processes, applying the lens of operational efficiency, scalability and continuous improvement.Engage and collaborate with all team members within Banking Operations, Payments & Business Services business, stakeholders outside of immediate team and cross-functional teams.To succeed in this role, you will have:Minimum 2-4 years’ experience in Financial Services or a related industry with exposure to operational processes and best practices.Strong understanding of operations principles, processes and methodologies.Knowledge of relevant operations systems would be advantageous.Knowledge of relevant finance industry standards, acts, codes, and legislations (e.g., CCC, Code of Practice, Privacy Act).Why Great Southern Bank?Whatever your role with us, you’ll be part of a force for good.
