This is a fixed-term contract until 30 June 2026.About YouAs a Project Manager (ICT), you will be at the heart of driving technology projects from conception to delivery. You ensure that IT solutions align with business needs, stay on schedule, and meet budget constraints. You are a positive influence for our internal stakeholders. Within the Project Management Office, you will be responsible for delivering an exciting strategic program that focuses on Metro delivering safe, reliable, and efficient bus services. If you're ready to make a real impact, this role is perfect for you!High-level project management experience with knowledge and understanding of contemporary project management practices and tools, enabling effective management of information technology and system projects.Demonstrated capacity to plan, organise, schedule, and deliver project activities to achieve defined objectives, as well as manage risk and change.Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills to effectively communicate with stakeholders, build relationships, and manage conflict.Good understanding of business principles and practices to manage project budgets, negotiate contracts, and manage stakeholder expectations.Experience project managing ICT transitions from legacy to modern technologies.Proven capability to work autonomously, including demonstrated experience planning, organising, scheduling, and delivering outputs within financial and time boundaries.Ability to identify and solve problems quickly and effectively and to modify approaches and adapt to change throughout the project lifecycle.About Metro TasmaniaAs the largest Tasmanian owned passenger transport company, Metro takes pride in connecting people and communities across the region.
