In 2024, based on their strong track record, the Fountaine Pajot group (Listed company on Euronext Paris) acquired a majority of shares in the company. Further to this acquisition, new regulations and new reporting are needed. Job Description The Yacht Sales Co are seeking a dynamic and experienced Chief Financial Officer (CFO) to join their leadership team. The CFO will be responsible for overseeing all financial activities, guiding financial strategy, and ensuring the company's financial health while contributing to the overall success of the business. Core responsibilities include: Key Responsibilities: Financial Strategy & Leadership: Develop and execute the company's financial strategy in alignment with business goals and objectives. Provide strategic recommendations to the CEO and executive team regarding financial performance, forecasting, and business operations. Lead financial planning and analysis (FP&A) to drive profitable growth and effective decision-making. Financial Management: Oversee the preparation and accuracy of all financial statements, reports, and forecasts. Implement new KPI's to facilitate the decisions of the Top management. Manage the budgeting, forecasting, and long-term financial planning processes. Ensure compliance with financial regulations, accounting standards, and internal controls. Cash-Flow & Capital Management: Manage and optimize cash flow, working capital, and financial risk. Monitor financial performance and implement cost-control measures to enhance profitability. Shareholders Relations: Act as a point of contact for shareholders, including handling quarterly and annual reports and other communications. Manage relationships with key stakeholders, including banks, auditors, and financial institutions. Relations with the accounting department of the Group and audit Teams in France. Team Leadership: Lead, mentor, and develop the finance and accounting team. Collaborate across departments to ensure financial information is understood and properly applied. Mergers & Acquisitions (Possible): Oversee and advise on merger and acquisition activities, including due diligence, valuations, and integration. The Successful Applicant To be eligible for consideration for the position of Chief Financial Officer at the Yacht Sales Co, applicants should confidently meet the following criteria: Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, or a related field; MBA or CPA preferred. Minimum of 5 years of experience in financial management, with 2 years in a senior leadership role, ideally as a CFO or VP of Finance. Fluent French speaker is essential. Strong knowledge of corporate finance, accounting principles, and financial regulations. Proven experience with financial modelling, forecasting, budgeting, and reporting. Exceptional leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills. Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment. Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities. Experience with mergers, acquisitions, and fundraising activities is a plus.
