About the Team The Purchasing and System Performance (PSP) Division is responsible for overseeing and contributing to key functions for the Department of Health and WA health system; including system-wide health resourcing and budget, purchasing including service agreements with Health Service Providers; health service performance management and system wide analytics, health system modelling including demand and capacity, health care needs and economic modelling, procurement and contract management of state wide community services; data systems and support services including data linkage and data infrastructure support, information management and performance policy, data quality and assurance, financial operations including statutory reporting and cash management, financial performance, reporting, policy and reform. The Assistant Director General (ADG) provides strategic direction and advice on matters within this portfolio and supports the Deputy Director General and Director General in the leadership and management of the Department of Health and the WA health system. The Office of the Assistant Director General (OADG) provides administrative and operational support and strategic coordination for the ADG and PSP Division. Your New Role Reporting to the Manager OADG, you will lead and oversee the Program Management Office for the Purchasing and System Performance Division. The successful applicant will be responsible for the leadership and management of project teams to develop, deliver, monitor, and evaluate a portfolio of strategic program of works, to achieve project outcomes and support achievement of the Department of Health's organisational objectives.
