Due to our growing pipeline of interesting and challenging projects, we are looking for a junior Civil Engineer with 1-4 years' experience to join our growing Wollongong Team. In this role you will learn and develop through collaboration on a range of projects with other Technical Disciplines, including (but not limited to) Geotechnics, Transport Advisory, Planning and Approvals, Hydrology & Hydrogeology and Environmental Specialist Services, servicing local and national clients. Responsibilities This role offers excellent long-term rewards and opportunities for learning, expanding technical knowledge and career advancement, including: Working on a wide range of projects across the Infrastructure, Built Environment, Manufacturing & Industry, Mining & Resources and Power & Energy Sectors. Undertaking a range of technical tasks, including: Providing technical engineering support to the Civil and Structural Engineering team. Preparing Civil Engineering designs. Supporting design management and project management on multi-discipline projects. Liaising with internal clients and consultants. Support Tender Management, Construction Management and Supervision. Learning from a diverse range of technical experts and senior members in the Civil & Structural team. Building the confidence to challenge the norm with the objective of continuous improvement. Experience Outside wanting to join a positive and friendly team, the right candidate should have: 1-4 years' experience with tertiary qualifications in Civil Engineering. Experience working on multi-disciplinary projects. Excellent written and communication skills, with demonstrated ability to build relationships. Competency in civil design, including the development of design solutions for roads, civil structures, infrastructure, earthworks and drainage. Experience in site supervision of civil engineering works is advantageous. Must have an excellent attitude and be capable of working within a dynamic environment. Have a clear understanding and articulation of your skills and awareness of direction you want to take with career progression.
