We are currently seeking a full-time experienced Building Manager to join our team at The Sebel Twin Waters Resort.
Within this role, you will support the property and building while working alongside four on site body corporates. You will have a strong administration and maintenance skillset as well as experience with stakeholder management and possess confident negotiation skills. This position offers the skills and expertise to grow into a future General Manager role with Accor Apartments & Realty.
As our next Building Manager, you will:
1. Be responsible for the maintenance and upkeep of all rooms, facilities and common areas of the property
2. Support the General Manager with delivery of the caretaker agreement and supervise all contractors and trades as required.
3. Work with a diverse team that will require a team-player attitude as well strong leadership skills
4. Have Previous maintenance management experience, previous building management/facilities management experience ideal but not necessary
5. Have demonstrated results in multi stakeholder environments ensuring positive business outcomes.
6. Be results driven and ensure the pursuit of excellence at all times while supporting the operation of the business and Resort.
7. Have experience in pool maintenance & chemicals.
8. Proficient in Microsoft programs and excellent report writing skills.
What we are looking for:
9. You are physically fit, have a get-up-and-go attitude and wont stop until the job is completed in a safe and presentable manner
10. Proven experience with property maintenance and preventative maintenance programs whilst a trade qualification is a bonus
11. You are highly organised and possess good time management practices
12. Confident in communicating with influence across multiple body corporates
13. Attention to detail in preparing reports, emails and ability to forward plan
14. You are solutions focused when solving problems
15. Hold a current manual drivers licence
