Ventia are currently looking to engage an experienced Hospitality & Catering Manager to support our Defence Base Services Contract. This position is a full-time permanent role, which will see you working at Irwin Barracks as well as Campbells Barracks WA.
Reporting to the Operational Services Manager, this role will see you support the team with the delivery of hospitality and catering services, reporting and managing incidents as well as implementation of appropriate standards and practices.

Your duties will include, but are not limited to:
* Management of the safe delivery of food and beverage services across the WA Irwin and Campbell Barracks, including off-site and away from kitchen / mess support
* Conduct of Food Safety Compliance activities including Food Safety Audits and oversight of Hazard Analysis Critical Control Point (HACCP) protocols, processes, and reporting
* Financial Management relating to product deliverables not limited to food costs, client quotations, supplier and customer accounts
* Management of Kitchen-staff, front of house teams and casual staff to maintain efficient service levels
* Manage inventory, sourcing and procurement of ingredients and supplies
* Preventive management of food safety hazards
* Review customer and client comments / feedback daily, ensuring concerns are investigated
* Actively participate in the recruitment process and identify suitable candidates to join the team
* Manage employee rosters and performance
* Prepare and deliver reports and statistics as required
Requirements:
* HACCP Certification will be required
* Sound knowledge of Food Safety Standards
* Experience managing large commercial catering operations
* Ability to use the Microsoft suite and other programs such as SAP, Ariba, Jamix or similar
* Food Safety for Supervisors certification – Highly regarded
