About the Opportunities
As a Heavy Combination Haulage Operator, you'll be responsible for the safe and efficient transport of materials to our various project sites and to our external clientele, using heavy combination and multi-combination vehicles. These integral roles require a highly competent operator with truck and dog trailer and/or B-double side tipper experience who can ensure safe and timely deliveries.
This is a full-time role working across East Gippsland and beyond and will require working away from home at times.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Operate heavy combination vehicles (e.g., Tippers, B-doubles) to transport goods across various routes.
2. Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections to ensure vehicle safety and compliance.
3. Adhere to all road safety regulations and company policies.
4. Maintain accurate logs of driving hours and vehicle maintenance.
5. Communicate effectively with the team to ensure smooth operations.
Requirements:
1. Current HC licence with a clean driving record.
2. Minimum of 5 years' experience in heavy combination vehicle operations.
3. Strong understanding of road safety regulations and best practices.
4. Excellent communication and time management skills.
5. Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
