This is an opportunity to work on high-profile national and international infrastructure, construction, and engineering projects, advising top-tier public and private sector clients.The TeamThis top-tier practice is ranked Band-1 in Construction and Major Projects and is widely recognised as a market leader in the Asia Pacific region. The team works on some of the largest and most complex infrastructure projects, from Public-Private Partnerships (PPPs) and transport megaprojects to energy and social infrastructure developments.Clients include government agencies, developers, financiers, project sponsors, consultants, and contractors involved in major public and private sector projects. The firm has a strong reputation for advising on procurement strategies, contract negotiations, risk management, and regulatory compliance, ensuring successful project delivery.The RoleThis role offers the opportunity to work alongside leading construction lawyers, advising clients on major front-end construction matters. You will:Advise on the procurement, negotiation, and structuring of complex construction and infrastructure contracts.Work with public and private sector clients, including Federal, State, and Local Government agencies.Draft and review major project documentation, including construction contracts, service agreements, and project finance arrangements.Support cross-border infrastructure projects in the Asia Pacific region.Gain exposure to Public-Private Partnerships (PPPs) and high-profile transport, energy, and engineering projects.Work closely with senior partners recognised as leaders in construction law.Requirements:To be successful in this role, you will have:2-4 years of post-qualification experience in front-end construction law.Strong contract drafting skills and a keen eye for detail.Experience in major projects, infrastructure, or construction law.Exposure to public sector work (highly regarded).Excellent commercial acumen, with the ability to provide strategic and commercially focused legal advice.A proactive, ambitious, and collaborative approach to problem-solving.The ability to travel interstate and internationally as required.This team works on Australia’s most significant infrastructure projects, shaping the future of transport, energy, and public works.
