KOCHAR AUSTRALIA TRANSPORT PTY LTD is located in Orange NSW and operates in the Transport Industry. The scope of our business is varied, from providing transport of general freight, freezer goods, dangerous goods and containers works in local and interstates.
We are currently looking for a Truck Driver for a Full-time position.
Duties & Responsibilities:
* Routine movements between depots.
* Delivery in Regional and Metro area.
* Inspect vehicles for mechanical item and safety issues and perform preventive maintenance.
* Plan Routes and meet delivery schedules.
* Operate Semi trailers, Forklift, loading and unloading line haul trailers.
* Document and log work/rest periods and kilometre spent driving and retain fuel/toll receipts.
* Manoeuvre trucks into loading or unloading positions.
* Collect and verify delivery instructions.
* Maintain customer relations and comply with truck driving rules and regulations (size, weight, route designation, parking and breaking periods as well as with company policies and procedures.
Qualification and Skills Requirement
* Certificate or above qualification in relevant field.
* Minimum 2 years relevant experience
* Current HC/MC driver’s licence
* Display a commitment of WH&S
* Strong work ethic reliable and punctual
* Ability to work unsupervised
* Ability to pass Pre-Employment Drug & Alcohol Screen, police screen & Working with children screen
Salary: The role offers a remuneration package of $75,000 plus superannuation for a 38-hour work week.
