* To be considered for this role, you must have current General Registration as a Pharmacist (without conditions or undertakings) with AHPRA and experience leading a pharmacy or dispensing team.
The Role:
* Be part of the future of Community Pharmacy as a leader in health delivery.
* Prepare prescriptions accurately and in compliance with the highest healthcare standards, while also developing your staff members.
* Provide active counselling and guidance to customers on prescribed and over-the-counter medications, as well as their medical conditions through our Care Clinics.
* Uphold QCPP and relevant policies and procedures to ensure a safe and compliant working environment.
* Ensure that displays and shelves are clean and neat and presentation standards maintained.
* Coordinate stock movement from storage areas and place on shelves.
* Monitor, order and replenish stock as required in collaboration with the Stock Controller.
* Prepare prescriptions in a timely, efficient and accurate manner, including confirming accuracy of prescriptions dispensed by non-pharmacists.
* Assist in the provision of Dose Administration Aids, including confirming accuracy of DAAs packed by non-pharmacists.
* Practice in accordance with legislation and professional guidelines.
* Ensure that prescriptions are accepted for dispensing in a timely way as per pharmacy procedure.
* Counsel consumers on their medication (both prescription and over-the-counter products) in an up-to-date, evidence-based manner.
* Collaborate and maintain relationships with local health professionals.
* Perform simple extemporaneous compounding on request.

Pay: $60.00 – $70.00 per hour
