As a production employee for Agilent, you will learn the skills required for making a variety of world class glass consumables, so having an appetite for continuously learning is key. 1. Safety First: Identify hazards and safety issues, and collaborate with your supervisor to address them promptly.
2. Production Excellence: Follow detailed work instructions and procedures to produce our glass products, including glass cutting, washing, glassblowing, torch assembly, cathode material preparation, hollow cathode lamp assembly, inspection, testing, and packing.
3. Continuous Learning: Participate in initial and ongoing training, and shadow peers or supervisors as needed.
4. Quality Focus: Maximize output without compromising product quality to meet customer expectations.
5. Commitment to Quality: Work within an ISO 9001 certified environment, demonstrating and practicing a commitment to quality.
6. Adaptability: Meet production goals and be flexible to changes in business needs.
7. Problem Solving: Identify and report issues that could compromise product quality due to process inconsistencies.
8. Continuous Improvement: Engage in continuous improvement efforts for better productivity (, PDCA, Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, 5S).
9. Data Accuracy: Ensure accurate and timely logging of data and tracking.
10. Inventory Management: Participate in regular inventory cycle counting and maintain stock accuracy.
Qualifications
Job Posting Qualifications:
11. Experience: No glassblowing experience required, but confidence to work with a flame and/or lathe beneficial.

13. Team Player: Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
14. Manufacturing Experience: Experience in a manufacturing environment or one with tight deadlines is preferred.
15. Manual Dexterity: Good manual dexterity for working with small, sensitive, and high-value parts.
16. Attention to Detail: Ability to follow work instructions and standard operating procedures.
17. Decision Making: Ability to make sound and informed decisions and understand when to escalate issues.

Additional Details
This job has a full time weekly schedule.Our pay ranges are determined by role, level, and location. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
