**Associate Director, Solution Architecture Role**
We are seeking a seasoned leader to play a critical role in aligning our technological solutions with Optus' strategic goals.
This position involves guiding the architecture and design of solutions to ensure they support key business objectives, leveraging regional collaboration and driving innovation in technology.
The role is accountable for fostering a high-performance team, collaborating with stakeholders at various levels, and ensuring our architecture aligns with both enterprise and regional IT strategies.
Key Responsibilities:
* Lead architecture initiatives that support the long-term strategy and business objectives.
* Champion architectural principles, introducing innovative technology and best practices.
* Work closely with business and IT stakeholders to define strategic architecture roadmaps.
* Provide technical leadership across architecture and design, ensuring alignment to business and regional needs.
* Mentor and lead a team of architects, guiding technical solutions and ensuring architecture consistency.
* Co-design and implement architectural guidelines and reference architectures.
* Drive improvements in processes, innovation, and team efficiency.
* Oversee the delivery of solutions that are secure, reusable, and aligned with regional and global standards.
* Facilitate strategic consultations, workshops, and road-mapping initiatives.
* Engage in budgeting, forecasting, and ensuring technical solutions meet total cost of ownership (TCO) considerations.
Requirements:
* Extensive experience in IT leadership and solution architecture, particularly in large-scale transformation projects.
* Expertise in enterprise architecture frameworks like TOGAF, and a strong understanding of Telco technology landscapes.
* Leadership experience managing teams, driving technical delivery, and collaborating with C-level executives.
* Ability to manage budgets, forecast, and ensure the delivery of cost-effective solutions.
* Proficient in Agile methodologies, with strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
* Excellent stakeholder management and communication abilities.
