WHAT YOU'LL DO
1. Take charge of a dynamic development team
2. Develop new solution using Microsoft Technologies to replace legacy VB6 application.
3. Collaborate with Program Architects to evolve our solution architecture and ensure a smooth transition from legacy to modern tech.
4. Roll up your sleeves and dive into developing new solutions using VB.Net, C#, ASP.Net, and JavaScript.
5. Perform meticulous code reviews
6. Build and optimize backend database code using T-SQL and other Microsoft technologies.
WHAT YOU REQUIRE
7. VB6: Strong experience with Visual Basic 6.
8. Microsoft Technologies: Proficient in VB.Net, C#, ASP.Net, and JavaScript.
9. Web Services/API: Skilled in developing and integrating Web Services/APIs.
10. Software Integration: Deep experience in software integration and deployment pipelines (CI/CD) in MS DevOps.
11. Source Control: Expert in using Azure DevOps or Git for source control.
12. Database Expertise: Proficient in T-SQL and backend database development.
13. Strong problem-solving and critical-thinking skills.
14. Proficient in understanding and translating business needs into technical requirements using User Stories, Business Process Maps, and Use Cases.
15. Experienced in Agile software development methodologies.
16. Knowledgeable in security controls requirements such as ISM and E8.
17. Familiarity with the unique challenges and requirements of developing software for government agencies.
Security Clearance: Must have or able to obtain Baseline Clearance
