As the Director Procurement, you will be responsible for:
• Building and maintaining productive relationships with a range of stakeholders (including industry groups) across the sector.
• Coaching and supporting category management teams to develop forward thinking category plans including tailored initiatives to meet diverse customer requirements which leverage sector expenditure and drive best practice.
• Driving robust, collaborative, and innovative thinking in category planning including the enablement of key demand management activities.
• Instilling stakeholder confidence in delivery and results, ensuring the teams deliver their initiatives with the highest level of integrity, following appropriate governance and probity with transparent and defensible outcomes.
• Developing innovative and agile procurement solutions in a dynamic and changing environment.
• Provide strategic direction to your teams to ensure that there is alignment with category and agency resources to enable government priorities to be advanced.
• Proactively managing the work performance and personal conduct of your staff.
