Job Description
We are seeking a skilled and experienced Telecommunication Field Engineer to join our team at Puncom Networks in Melbourne, Victoria.
* Plan and design telecommunications networks and equipment, ensuring network design meets client specifications and regulatory standards.
* Install, commission, integrate, and optimize wired and wireless telecommunications systems, including WCDMA/LTE/4G/5G and NBN technologies.
* Provide technical advice and information to internal teams and clients regarding telecommunications networks and technologies.
* Identify, troubleshoot, and resolve complex problems in telecommunications networks and equipment.
* Monitor and evaluate the performance of telecommunications systems, identifying areas for improvement.
Requirements
* Bachelor's degree or at least three years of relevant work experience in telecommunications or related fields.
* Experience with systems such as Radio UHF (Tetra), VHF, Microwave, Radar, AIS, and Satellite are advantageous.
* Demonstrated ability in fault diagnosis and service restoration for communication systems.
* Valid driver's license.
* Excellent interpersonal skills, with a proven ability to work as part of a collaborative team.
Benefits
