Your next opportunity Boral have a permanent, full-time opportunity for a responsible and driven individual to join our team as an Asphalt Laboratory Tester based in Deer Park, Melbourne. Working independently this role reports to the Laboratory Supervisor and involves undertaking tasks in relation to sampling, testing, training, supervising, maintenance of records, reporting of results for our Asphalt related products. Your day will involve: Conduct sampling of samples on site with our Asphalt crews Conduct testing in accordance with laboratory work instructions, test methods, preparation instructions and manuals Calibrate laboratory equipment as required Maintain, observe, and take part in the statutory safety requirements of the Laboratory operations Other duties as directed by Laboratory Management What are we looking for? Experience as a field tester, desired but not essential Well developed skills and understanding of computer systems for monitoring and reporting of data (especially with Microsoft Office, Word, Excel etc). An ability to cope with competing priorities and deadlines Willingness to do shift/weekend work in line with our crews (Overtime paid) What’s on offer?
