Job Description:
Mandatory Requirements
* Intermediate to advanced knowledge of switches and routers in a network production environment (switches, Cisco Nexus Cisco, 3650, Cisco Meraki)
* Basic to intermediate skill in troubleshooting voice systems – Mitel 3300 CX Controller, Mi voice Business Virtual for Enterprise, T1/E1 Combo MMC (PRI)
* At least three years of experience in supporting F5 LTM Load balancers
* Solid knowledge on DWDM
* Solid knowledge on disaster recovery activities.
You will be expected to possess good analytical and troubleshooting skills (the ability to think logically through a problem) and have the initiative, perseverance, and commitment to see problems through to resolution.
You will own the root cause analysis process and ensure remediation of major issues. You will also provide assistance in a support capacity with problem and incident resolution and assume major incident and problem ownership and accountability.
Key Responsibilities Include:
* Ensuring 24/7 availability of the production environment and leading the daily operations of the production environment
* Being available for after-hours support, on-call, and performing maintenance
* Participating in Change Advisory Board Review Meetings with customer
* Building monitoring tools to ensure system availability, resource utilization, and capacity
* Creating network services dashboard providing insights into capacity, activities, and SLA measurements
* Performing upgrades on Cisco routers/switches/WLC whenever required
* Driving continuous improvement and process change suggestion to management
* Monitoring performance and ensuring system availability and reliability
* Monitoring system resource utilization, trending, and capacity planning
* Configuring and implementing the backup tools for auto configuration on Network device
* Working within established configuration and change management policies to ensure awareness, approval, and success of changes made to the network infrastructure
* Ability to handle multiple projects within timeline
* Documenting the issues, creating the knowledge base articles, and updating the inventory
* Managing Data Center operations for hardware installation and during maintenance whenever required

Qualification:
* Bachelor's degree in network administration, information technology, or computer science
* Experience supporting technical enterprise solutions
* Previous experience in IT, security or systems support, or network administrator positions preferred
* Must hold network certification – CCNA/CCNP – Routing/Switching
* Possess excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
* Ability to perform well under pressure
* Work well independently and in team settings
* Be a confident communicator
* Fluent English speaking and writing skills
