Green Light are looking for a Multiple Site Technicians to join our Technology Client supporting projects with their customer in Oil and Gas
About the Role
Green Light Worldwide is seeking skilled and motivated Site Technicians to join our team on a FIFO basis, working with a global Oil & Gas industry leader. This is a fantastic opportunity for those with an interest in hands-on technical work and a commitment to high standards in equipment installation and maintenance.
Key Responsibilities
As a Site Technician, you will be responsible for replacing in-room equipment in the accommodation facilities on-site. Tasks include:
* Wi-Fi Access Point Installation: Replace desk-mounted APs with wall-mounted units, test connectivity, and label the AP.
* IP Phone Replacement: Swap out existing desk-mounted POE IP phones with new units, provision and test call functionality, and record device details.
* TV Replacement and Configuration: Replace in-room TVs (desk or wall-mounted), configure the TV to the room’s Wi-Fi, install an app for single app mode, and test connectivity.
* Equipment Removal: Clear out legacy equipment, packaging, and other waste from rooms.
* Documentation: Accurately record installation details, including MAC addresses, serial numbers, and installation dates/times.
Required Qualifications
* MSIC (Maritime Security Identification Card): If you do not have an MSIC, it can be arranged.
Preferred Qualifications
* BIOSET or TBIOSET Certification: This is advantageous.
