Your ability to think critically, engage with stakeholders, and drive meaningful regulatory outcomes makes you a key contributor to ASIC's work in private markets.The teamThe Market Conduct team seeks to ensure trust and confidence in Australia's financial markets by regulating wholesale funds and market intermediaries (including market participants, investment banks, securities dealers and issuers of over the counter (OTC) products). Australia's wholesale financial markets are critical to the Australian economy for funding and risk management and have grown rapidly in recent years.The Wholesale Markets Intermediary Compliance team (WMIC) is a specialist team within the Market Conduct team. It undertakes surveillance of participants in wholesale markets and wholesale private capital fund managers, and contributes to the development of market conduct standards.
