Wholesale Account & Field Manager (Energy)This regional field-based role requires frequent and, on occasion, significant travel across NSW (including interstate).Schedule: Usual working hours are Monday – Friday, 9am – 5pm (with flexibility for out of hours cover for industry events and overnight stays etc.)Driving Licence: A full valid driving licence is required, and a company vehicle will be provided.Experience Level: Due to the nature of the role, a good level of electrical and sales experience in a similar position is required. Knowledge of the renewable energy industry and selling to its distributors and wholesalers would be preferable.What You’ll Be Doing:Independently sourcing, targeting and cold-calling (where required) battery installers and retailers. Recruiting and convincing these targets to uptake the GivEnergy range.Training on new products and adaptability to cross and upsell the growing product range introduced by GivEnergy ongoingly.Understanding the market, trends and market analysis to allow a more structured approach to current and prospective customer bases.Responsible for strategic aims for the department, setting targets, comparing performance to goals and adjusting goals as needed.Assessing current processes and procedures, identifying opportunities for improvement and implementing them.Leading any tender opportunities that you uncover/get presented with.Providing detailed and accurate sales forecasts.Working in collaboration with high-profile and credible national distributors of Renewable products.Growing and maintaining distributor and retailer relationships.Attendance to trade shows, fairs, exhibitions, events and site visits as an ambassador of the business, including face-to-face promotion and demonstration of GivEnergy products.Other service-based responsibilities include but are not limited to:The testing, maintenance and repair of our domestic and commercial energy storage systems for installers and end users to provide minimal downtime and an excellent level of customer service.Some problem resolution at home or office environment via phone and online.Self-management of vehicle and ‘van stock’ to ensure the parts required are in stock on the vehicle to prevent return visits, ensuring equipment is signed in and out correctly.Identification and resolution of potential issues with equipment both on and off site including completing a pre-defined site visit sheet to keep track of installation errors or product issues.On-site training to new and existing installers or distributors and fellow staff as the business grows.Any reasonable request by your manager to provide technical or field support at installations in varying locations.What We’re Looking For:Confidence and credibility with a strong network of wholesaler/distributor contacts within the electrical/energy storage industry.Electrical Engineer background/Electrical qualifications are essential due to the technical needs of the role.Demonstrated ability in B2B account management, showcasing strategic thinking and relationship-building prowess.Expertise in managing the complete sales cycle with a track record of consistent activity, growth and exceeding targets.An understanding of the needs and expectations of the wholesaler/distributor market.An understanding of battery storage systems and related products in the competitor market, including technical specifications, benefits and trends.Strong negotiation skills to achieve favourable deals for both the company and our stakeholders.Strong communication skills both spoken and written.Proficiency in IT tools and the ability to adapt to new software and systems.Why Work With Us?Job satisfaction by playing your part to support our commitment to net-zero, sustainability and the impact on our planet!Regular performance-based salary reviews.Regular Company events, shows and exhibitions.Work in a fun, relaxed environment with a smart/casual dress code, and free company branded workwear provided.Continuous professional development opportunities.Discounts available on our products.Travel opportunities within Australia and overseas.At GivEnergy, we are committed to fostering an inclusive and diverse workplace where every individual feels valued, respected, and empowered to bring their authentic selves to work.
