THE ROLE The ideal candidate has been working in HR for several years and is ready to take the next step. An energetic person who is willing to continue to learn with a vision to grow and evolve the HR role within the company. This position, in addition to the essential HR administrative duties, will add value by contributing to the strategic growth of the company and company culture. Eternal Fresh will provide world class training with global exposure. The candidate will collaborate across a range of business functions while working with a team of diverse cultural backgrounds. This role will contribute to the development of a winning team culture adding value to a company with a strong growth trajectory. The HR Specialist will play a pivotal role in the organisation, overseeing various HR functions and ensuring the smooth operation of the workforce. You will enjoy building trusted relationships with all levels of stakeholders and be an excellent problem solver. You are able to work with leaders to understand their business priorities and enjoy connecting people and culture in practical ways to realise company goals. Duties include but not limited to:
General HR support and advice, including performance management and organisational development of all staff. First point of contact for all HR-related queries.
General HR operations including recruitment, onboarding, training and staff exit.
Planning of workforce and staff development, through collaboration with the management team.
Administer employee contracts including benefits programs and ensure compliance with regulation.
Stay abreast of labour laws and regulations to ensure compliance - specifically farming would be beneficial.
Facilitate training and development plans for staff at all levels, fostering ongoing learning and skill building to support individual and organisational growth.
Other HR related duties as required.
Qualifications And Requirements
Tertiary qualification in Human Resources required.
4 years’ experience working in a HR Advisor/Coordinator role.
General understanding of Australian employment law.
Empathetic communicator who builds strong relationships at all levels.
Strong organisational and administration skills.
Strong capability to engage and build rapport with the team.
Self-motivated and can take ownership of project tasks.
Highly motivated, dynamic, energetic and proactive person with a warm, caring personality.
Exposure to compliance in farm operations but not essential.
Experience using Employment Hero would be beneficial but not essential.
