Reporting to the Chief Operations Officer, the role leads a team of 4 planners and analysts and will be accountable for developing and executing merch planning strategies that maximise sales and margin. The successful person in this role will be a key stakeholder in ownership of inventory management across the business. Working alongside the buying, production, logistics and design teams, this role will be a critical lynchpin in the Oroton growth journey.Key responsibilities include:Develop short and long term strategies and seasonal plans aligned with business goals for growth and market trendsOwnership of inventory and stock levels across all Oroton channels to ensure the right product mix is available in the right locationLead financial planning activities, working closely with the commercial finance team and others to set business targets and promotional calendarUtilise data driven insights to drive demand forecasting, trend analysis and identify opportunitiesSupport future state thinking through a close collaboration with design and production teams to ensure future ranges are meeting business needsLead a group of planners and invest in their growth to support career development in-houseWhat we are looking for:The successful person in this role will be a leader who can work cross-functionally with ease and enjoys the pace of a fast retail environment.
