We are looking for an experienced and passionate Full Time Head Chef to join the PLG team at Mordy HQ in Mordialloc. You’ll lead a talented team and set the kitchen standard for our venue. If you thrive in a fast-paced environment, we want to hear from you!

What will my duties include?
1. Prepare, cook and serve food ensuring a high level of quality and presentation at all times.
2. Develop menus, specials and functions.
3. Manage food purchases, menu costings and monthly stocktakes.
4. Oversee the appropriate receiving, storage, and rotation of food.
5. Food safety auditing compliance including food safety logbook, temperature checks and all other regulatory requirements.
What we are looking for:
1. Hold a Certificate 3 or 4 in Commercial Cookery (or equivalent).
2. Previous experience in a similar role.
3. Ability to lead, motivate, and manage kitchen staff effectively.
4. Demonstrated high-level customer service skills in a variety of hospitality offerings.
5. Proficiency in budgeting and controlling food costs.
6. Understanding of current Food Safety Legislation.
7. Willingness to work various shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
8. Full working rights in Australia.
