Formed in 2018, the Kinrise portfolio covers Biscuits, Breakfast, Baking, Bakery, and Snackfood categories and has 40+ years making iconic Australian food, with a rich Australian heritage that's grounded in family origins.The Role:As Shift Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the night shift operations and ensuring that all production targets are met. In this role, you'll drive a culture of safety, efficiency, and continuous improvement, ensuring smooth and effective operations from end to end.Key Responsibilities:Leadership & Team Development: Lead, coach, and develop a dedicated team supporting them to achieve individual and team goals.Operational Excellence: Ensure adherence to safety, quality, and production standards throughout each stage of the Manufacturing process.Continuous Improvement: Drive improvement initiatives, encouraging team-based problem-solving and analysing production data to enhance performance and reduce inefficiencies.Compliance & Safety: Maintain a strong commitment to OH&S, GMP, and HACCP standards, promoting a safe work environment and enforcing proper incident management practices.Cross-functional Collaboration: Build effective relationships with stakeholders across manufacturing, quality, and maintenance to ensure the alignment of objectives and timely troubleshooting.What You Bring:Experience in Leadership: A minimum of 4-5 years' experience in a Manufacturing Leadership role, ideally in an FMCG or food production environment.Commitment to Quality: Knowledge of quality control and food safety principles, with experience adhering to HACCP and GMP standards.Problem Solving & Analytical Skills: Proficiency in leveraging data to inform decision-making, with strong analytical and problem-solving skills.Communication Skills: Effective written and verbal communication skills, with a track record of motivating teams and achieving production objectives.Technical Aptitude: Familiarity with high-speed packaging machinery and SAP software is advantageous.Resilience & Proactivity: A proactive approach to continuous improvement and strong attention to detail in a fast-paced, high-volume environment.Qualifications: A degree in Business, Engineering, Food Technology, or a related discipline is a plus.Why Join Us?Kinrise is a fast-paced, agile business that focuses on your talents and challenges you to perform at your best.
