Standalone Payroll Officer for a trusted company on the Lower North Shore

Established for decades, this company provides specialist financial services across Australia. Trusted by their clients and based on the Lower North Shore, they are seeking a standalone Payroll Officer on a temporary basis for 4 months.
Your new role
In this role, you will:
* Coordinate all aspects of payroll, including processing end-to-end, such as superannuation contributions, leave, overtime, payroll tax, terminations etc.
* Maintain up-to-date and accurate employee details on the relevant payroll system
* Reviewing payroll reports to ensure complete accuracy before managing release of payment
* Prepare payroll journals, reports and GL reconciliation, PPL payments
What you'll need to succeed
* Excellent attention to detail
* Great written and verbal communication skills
* Experience in full-function payroll processing - standalone experience is a bonus
* Previous experience with outsource provider is beneficial and seen as an advantage
* Ability to work in a high-pressure environment with the ability to prioritise and manage workload
