The Opportunity
Reporting to the Visual Merchandise Manager, the Visual Merchandise Executive will assist in the development of impactful permanent and temporary visibility plans, ensuring excellent implementations that fit the markets’ needs
What you'll get to do
• Assist Visual Merchandise Manager with the development and implementation of the retail plan
• Full understanding of the global brand strategy and POS guidelines, adapting the POS needs to the region
• Support the concept development and production of temporary animations in accordance with brand guidelines, liaising with local suppliers, internal teams.
• Evaluate the implementation and provide solutions for making improvements if needed
• Prepare & validate customised launch planograms adapted to local market realities
• Create & Communicate Merchandising and Visual guidelines
• Support local initiatives/special projects and custom proposals upon requests
• Accountable for ordering and download artwork from the Global Image platform
• Co-ordinate artwork and production with suppliers and when required create artwork for ticketing (Price tickets, GWP’s)
• Maintain visual and distribution databases
• Store check reports upon request
• Raise & maintain purchase orders within SAP as required
We'd love to meet you if you have
1. Experience: At least 2 to 3 years of experience in a similar position from the beauty or FMCG Industry
2. Education: Education and/or experience in Interior Design or Visual Merchandising required
3. Languages: English
4. Competencies: Strong project management skills to complete tasks with accuracy and with attention to details Strong interpersonal and communication skills. Good understanding of premium brand strategy Deadline-oriented, willingness to learn and able to work under pressure Assist with installs which may be required outside the normal working hours Possess a current driver’s license and able to travel locally and interstate when required.
5. Specific Knowledge required: Competent in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator and InDesign - essential) Sketch Up (an advantage) Proficient in Microsoft Office package Planogram experience and the ability to read and interpret drawings / floorplans will be well regarded Knowledge of retail trends – interest and passion for visual merchandising
