About your opportunity:
Casual opportunities available / Location: Townsville University Hospital
The Pharmacist Senior will:
1. Deliver a high level of professional client focused pharmacy service and leadership within an evidence-based, quality and multidisciplinary health care environment. This includes training, education and research activities to the wards and units serviced by the Pharmacy Department.
2. Promote safe, effective and efficient use of medicines in keeping with the department's goals and objectives and mission statements for Townsville University Hospital and Health Service.
About the Pharmacy Department:
Casual rates of $77.19 to $83.06 p.h. (HP4)
Requirements:
3. Possession of a Bachelor of Pharmacy Degree from a recognised tertiary institution (or equivalent).
4. Current registration with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA).
5. A health-related post-graduate qualification and/or enrolment in the SHPA residency program are desirable.
6. Rostered overtime and on call are a requirement of this position.
7. Variable working hours providing a 7-day extended hour's pharmacy service will be required.
8. Provide pharmacy services across 7-days (Monday to Sunday) to designated work units as rostered.
9. This is a Vaccine Preventable Diseases (VPD) risk role: Hepatitis A/B, Measles, Mumps, Rubella, Varicella, and Pertussis.
10. Pre-employment checks will be conducted.
