In this pivotal role, you will be responsible for ensuring strict hygiene, infection control, and OH&S standards while effectively managing human and financial resources to deliver high-quality outcomes and exceptional customer service.You will also:Oversee operational management of Environmental Services, including housekeeping, hygiene, linen, waste, clinical waste, and security.Maintain hospital cleanliness across all areas, including patient rooms, theatres, and public spaces.Ensure compliance with infection control procedures and regulatory requirements.Conduct regular annual audits, training, and inspections.Lead a team, fostering a positive, collaborative, and forward-thinking culture in line with Ramsay Health Care's values.Your Skills and ExperienceTo be successful in this role, you will have proven ability to work in a team environment and independently as required.You will also have:Proven experience within a similar leadership role highly desired.Understanding of QLD Security legislative requirements highly desired.Understanding of both general and clinical waste legislative requirements highly desired.Experience with carpet cleaning schedules and general carpet healthcare highly desired.Experience with hard floor periodical schedules and general carpet healthcare highly desired.RemunerationOn offer is a base hourly rate: $35.53 + superannuation based on experience level and qualifications, exclusive of penalties or allowances.
