There will be many more exciting and innovative things to do.Provide or support detailed design and specification for the following equipment and systems:Electrical power generation, distribution, and earthing systemsSwitchgear, launch machines and motor control centresExterior and interior lighting, HVAC, and Security systemsFluids and mechanical control systems including, PLCs, instrumentation and programming for ground side operations and launch sequencesSCADA system hardware and softwareData and communications system for spaceport and facilitiesFire alarm systems and lightning protection systemsProvide electrical engineering support to facility technicians in operation and troubleshooting of existing instrumentation, control system and electrical equipment and controllersEnsure that all equipment interfaces properly with other mechanical and electrical systems, including compatibility with facility power budgetsCoordinate all electrical installations and maintenance activities with Gilmour Space personnel and contractorsManage compliance of instrument, control and electrical installations with local and international design and operation codesProvide operations input where appropriate to all launch vehicle and spaceport development teams conducting design and systems engineering review tasksOther duties as requested by ManagementMandatory Qualifications, Skills and Experience:3+ years of professional experience in a similar roleRPEQ or the ability to applyEvidence of exceptional abilityNV1 Security Clearance eligible preferredDesired Qualifications, Skills and Experience:Ability to read, draft and understand complex power, electronics, instrumentation and control schematicsAbility to read, draft and understand highly technical equipment design documentation, operation and maintenance (O&M) manuals and specificationsExperience with medium/high voltage systemsExperience with PLC and distribution board panel design and productionAbility to work on multiple tasks concurrentlyKnowledge of safety procedures and techniquesHigh level of self-motivation, with the ability to work under minimal supervisionStrong written and verbal communication skillsHow to Apply:Applicants must be an Australian Citizen/Permanent Resident or have an appropriate Australian work visa or work entitlements.If you are a proactive team player with a passion to get Australia to space and a desire to succeed, please apply now by clicking the apply button and including your resume and cover letter or head to our website: CAREER | Gilmour Space Technologies | Rocket launch provider.Gilmour Space Technologies is proud to be an equal opportunity employer.
