We are currently seeking a Small Animal Internal Medicine Specialist to join the our team in our Homebush NSW facility. Homebush is located in the geographical centre of Sydney, Australia, which is known as one of the best cities in the world. Sydney offers an amazing climate and a host of lifestyle opportunities including beautiful beaches, mountains, nightlife, restaurants, multi-cultural activities and Sydney Harbour – all within a 30-60 minute drive from Homebush.
This is an exciting time to join us as we are experiencing significant growth and expansion. We have invested heavily in new purpose built locations, equipment and facilities throughout our hospitals and have a dynamic and engaging team culture. Facilities and equipment in our flagship hospital in Sydney include 9 fully equipped consultation rooms, dedicated ICU and treatment areas, 3 operating theatres, highfield MRI (1.5 tesla), 64 slice CT scanner, advanced onsite medical imaging suite, multiple cardiac and general imaging ultrasound systems, endoscopy/arthroscopy/fluoroscopy, DR radiology, in house Idexx pathology laboratory, SmartFlow patient management, meeting facilities, dedicated quiet office for our specialists, staff room and facilities, supported by a 24-hour emergency service and 24-hour animal attendant, nursing and reception teams. We also currently provide off-site radiation therapy, with plans to build an onsite radiation therapy suite in the near future.
Our specialists are supported by an expertly trained and highly experienced team of veterinary professionals including specialists in emergency and critical care, oncology, imaging, surgery, ophthalmology and behaviour. Our veterinary professionals are expected to lead by example, sharing their knowledge and experience with others so we can grow together.
Job Requirements
• A veterinary degree registerable in Australia with specialist qualifications (FANZCVS, or Board-certified) is required
• Eligible to be registered as a veterinarian in NSW
• Experience working in a multi disciplinary hospital
