The Role
As an Assistant Restaurant Manager, you will oversee the daily operations of our Frenzys Food Court, ensuring exceptional service, operational efficiency, and team development. You’ll work closely with the Restaurant Manager to lead, mentor, and inspire your team while maintaining compliance and upholding the Southport Sharks values.
This role demands a proactive, hands-on approach to manage catering operations, and a strong focus on leadership, strategic planning, and a commitment to exceptional service delivery.
What You’ll Do
* Operational Leadership
o Oversee restaurant operations, ensuring seamless service and efficiency to deliver outstanding results.
o Optimize staffing levels and schedules to align with business demands.
* Team Management & Development
o Lead, train, and mentor team members, fostering a culture of collaboration and accountability.
o Identify training needs and implement development programs to enhance team performance.
* Cultivate a culture of open communication, teamwork, and excellence.
* Lead by example in decision-making, problem-solving, and delivering top-tier customer experiences.
* Compliance & Risk Management
o Ensure adherence to all relevant legislation, including food safety and RSA regulations.
o Maintain compliance with company policies and industry standards.
* Customer Experience & Continuous Improvement
o Evaluate and refine service processes to enhance guest satisfaction.
o Encourage innovation and proactive problem-solving to elevate the dining experience.
What You’ll Bring
* Essential Qualifications
o Food Safety & Hygiene qualifications
o Certificate III in Hospitality
o Current RSA & First Aid Certification
* Preferred Skills & Experience
o Certificate IV in Hospitality or Front Line Management
o Experience in team leadership within hospitality and catering operations
o Proficiency in rostering and operational planning
