We are currently seeking a Positive Behaviour Support Practitioner (Core/Proficient/Advanced) to join our growing team. About the Role: As a Positive Behaviour Support Practitioner, you'll work across various settings—homes, schools, workplaces, and community centres, and build strong, supportive relationships with participants and their families to conduct Functional Behaviour Assessments (FBA) and develop and implement Behaviour Support Plans. You'll collaborate within interdisciplinary and stakeholder teams to tackle complex behavioural challenges and drive outcomes for participants. You’re a mentor, a strategist, and a catalyst for growth, using your skills to make a lasting impact on the lives of clients and their families and where every small win is celebrated by a team that values excellence just as much as you do. Key Responsibilities: Client-Centered Service Delivery : Active engagement with participants, in a variety of settings (in-clinic, community, home, outreach, telehealth) to meet their unique needs and preferences. Collaboration with Stakeholders : Liaise and coordinate a variety of different stakeholders to all contribute to the participant's success. Report Writing : Written reports form the foundation of communication and advocate for the participant's needs Compliance : Work within the guidelines and timelines as outlined by the NDIS About you: A dynamic practitioner with relevant skills and experience, and registration with the NDIS Commission to carryout PBS work (Suitability Letter from NDIS Commission) Have a passion for helping children and adults with behavioural difficulties and understand that every behaviour serves a purpose. You thrive in facilitating and enabling meaningful outcomes for clients and families. Experience in positive behavioural support work (ideally 6 months minimum) or ability to learn quickly Patience and ability to keep calm in stressful situations Able to work autonomously and part of a specialist multidisciplinary team Able to effectively communicate with parents and carers. Strong case formulation and written report writing skills. Have a positive and flexible approach to work.
