As part of our dynamic team, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the seamless flow of operations, from supply chain management to the timely delivery of our bespoke furniture solutions. Position Responsibilities and Tasks:
* Manage end-to-end supply chain operations, including procurement, warehousing, and distribution.
* Implement effective inventory management to ensure the accurate and timely availability of furniture for production and distribution.
* Develop and execute strategies for efficient, cost-effective logistics and timely delivery.
* Oversee inbound and outbound warehouse processes, ensuring seamless operations.
* Coordinate the loading and unloading of trucks to guarantee the safe and timely transport of goods.
* Lead and manage the logistics and warehouse team, ensuring high performance and collaboration.
* Coordinate relationships with suppliers and third-party logistics providers to ensure smooth operations.
* Ensure adherence to legal, regulatory, and safety standards.
* Control logistics budgets, identifying opportunities to reduce costs and improve operational efficiency.
* Work with sales, production, and customer service teams to meet clients’ expectations.
* Continuously improve logistics processes to enhance productivity and service.
Qualifications and Skills:
* Bachelor degree in a related field, or alternatively 4 to 5 years of work experience.
* Proven track record in managing and optimizing logistics operations.
* Strong leadership skills with experience in managing teams and driving performance.
* Excellent problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
* Knowledge of logistics software and systems.
* Ability to work in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment with strong attention to detail.
* Minimum 2 years’ of proven experience in logistics or supply chain management, preferably in a manufacturing industry.
Salary: This is a full-time position with competitive remuneration between $70,000 - $85,000 p.a. plus superannuation for a 38-hour work week.
