Based in our stunning Wollongong studio, this full-time position offers the chance to work within a collaborative and innovative environment. This role presents excellent opportunities for career advancement within our practice for the right candidate.Qualifications and ExperienceDiploma in Building Design or equivalent.Revit specialist with a minimum of 10 years’ post graduate experience (in Australia).A strong portfolio of industrial / commercial projects.Demonstrated experience supervising others.Valid Australian Driver’s Licence and access to personal transport.Required SkillsConstruction Knowledge: In-depth understanding of Australian construction methods, including timber and light steel framing, masonry construction, and concrete and structural steel framing systems.Design Sensitivity: A good understanding of complex site issues and an ability to interrogate a client’s brief to inform considered design solutions.Drafting and Detailing Expertise: Proficient in creating detailed construction drawings, in 2D and 3D, with a keen eye for detail.Standards Knowledge: Thorough understanding of Australian Standards and the Building Code of Australia.Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills.Performance: Proven ability to work under pressure, accurately estimate and meet deadlines while delivering high-quality service.Problem-Solving: Strong analytical skills with a problem-solving approach to construction and documentation processes.Collaborate Effectively: Work closely with all team members to achieve the project goals.
