About the Role
The Privacy and GIPA Officer is responsible for ensuring that the University complies with the privacy obligations set by NSW and Commonwealth laws. The officer also acts as the Right to Information Officer, responding to Government Information Public Access (GIPA) applications. This role involves several responsibilities, such as handling privacy complaints and breaches, identifying areas of non-compliance, giving advice on privacy impact assessments, and guiding on privacy-related issues. This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking to enhance their skills in privacy by driving the delivery of all components of a privacy framework, and gaining exposure to cutting-edge privacy work.

• Has excellent knowledge and understanding of the requirements of NSW and Federal privacy legislation

Remuneration Package: HEW Level 9 $151,302 to $161,579 p.a. (comprising Salary of $127,852 to $136,536 p.a., plus Superannuation and Leave Loading)
