The Role Reporting into the Group Finance Manager, this role is pivotal in ensuring seamless financial control operations within the organisation and ensure value creation to business stakeholders. It involves actively running BAU finance activities and uplifting those processes throughout. Responsibilities and opportunities will include: Month-End Reporting: Ownership of our month-end reporting by presenting insightful financial data to senior leadership and the Group Accounting function, including crafting accounting reconciliations and journals processes for higher degree of efficiency. Optimise Reconciliations: Elevate balance sheet and general ledger reconciliations with innovative solutions and accuracy. Streamline Reporting Processes: Spearhead quarterly, half-year, and year-end reporting requirements, including seamless coordination with external audits and the preparation of comprehensive financial statements. Enhance Financial Reporting: Assist in the preparation and review of monthly financial reporting and management reporting packs, ensuring clarity and impact. Drive Audits: Support and drive more optimal half year and year end audits thinking of new methodologies and actionable insights. Champion Process Improvements: Collaborate with the group-level finance function to identify and implement opportunities for process streamlining and improvement across the group. This is a broad role, that blends strategic direction with execution and alignment surrounding business strategic goals.
