Orpheus Island is an all-inclusive, eco-friendly luxury island lodge located on the Great Barrier Reef, with just 14 rooms. Our Kitchen offers daily changing menus that showcase the riches of the region, with a strong focus on local produce that is freshly caught and grown.
We are looking for a Chef de partie and two Food & Beverage attendants to join our team. (Couples welcome to apply) If you are a yoga instructor this is a bonus.
The role:
This position will best suit a chef & food and beverage attendant with experience in remote luxury lodges/resorts or hatted restaurants.
Skills & requirements
Chef
1. Must be trade qualified
2. Experience within a similar standard of kitchen
3. Experience in daily changing menus is favorable
4. Supportive and strong team player
5. Exceptional time management and organisational skills
6. Experience working in a luxury property or fine dining restaurant
7. Barista Experience
8. Good knowledge with International and Australian wines
