The Role
This is a unique opportunity to contribute to the organisation's mission of promoting and celebrating Australian Indigenous cultures, perspectives, and voices.
As the Indigenous Strategies Project Officer, you will play a pivotal role in supporting the scoping, implementation, and monitoring of key Indigenous projects in line with the ABC’s First Nations strategies and policies. You will provide administrative and executive support to the Director First Nations Strategy and the broader team, acting as key liaison between the First Nations team and other departments to ensure effective implementation of projects and initiatives.
The Job
* Develop and maintain local management systems to improve information and reporting.
* Contribute to the analysis and development of policies and strategies that promote Indigenous employment and cultural safety.
* Support the team in organising and executing workshops and training sessions, prepare materials and visual presentations.
* Contribute to the development of culturally appropriate content and resources for internal use and external communication.
