If you are an undergraduate Accounting student looking to jump start your career, we are offering a 13-month full time or part time internship based at our Scoresby. This is a unique opportunity to gain skills and knowledge while you are working full time commencing 27th January 2025.
Responsibilities
About You:
To qualify for this undergraduate internship, it is essential that you:
* Are currently studying a Bachelor degree Majoring in Accounting
* Have between 1 and 8 units of study left to complete of your undergraduate degree as of January 2025
* Are available for the full 13 months and be willing to defer your studies for that duration.
Note: Applicants that do not meet these qualifying requirements unfortunately will not be considered.
To be successful in this role, you will possess skills/abilities or be able to perform:
* Excellent attention to detail
* Ability to work autonomously
* Inquisitive nature
* Outgoing personality (confidence in communicating with a range of stakeholders)
* Intermediate Microsoft Excel skills

Qualifications
In this role you will make an impact in the following ways:
* Working Capital management through understanding the end-to-end process of Accounts Receivable, Accounts Payable, and Intercompany.
* Provide assistance with accounting month end activities and fixed asset accounting
* Assist in the development and review of internal controls to ensure the enterprise and its business units are in compliance
* Carry out internal/external reporting and general operational accounting
* Identify needs and opportunities for process improvements
* Provide accounting support and financial analysis for Business Leaders.
