The Dubbo Turf Club is seeking a motivated person to join our award-winning and high-performing Club in an Operational Support & Administration role. Reporting to the General Manager, this full-time position will provide operational support to the Club’s management team, while overseeing the day-to-day accounts and administration functions.
Key Responsibilities:
* Providing operational support to the Club’s Management Team
* Day-to-day administrative and accounts functions, including:
* Accounts payable and receivable, payroll, journals, IAS, BAS, ASIC and reconciliations.
* Audit, treasury and budget reporting and development
* Industry relations - Trainers, Owners, Members, Partners
* Race Meeting preparation, execution and reconciliation
* Event planning, preparation and execution
* WHS compliance and reporting
An attractive salary will be negotiated with the successful applicant. The role will require a work roster of five of seven days, with regular weekend work. The Dubbo Turf Club hosts 18-20 race meetings per year and provides training facilities where more than 200 horses are conditioned. The Club also has a burgeoning events portfolio and plays host to around 25 events a year.
